This is the best combined Sheffield Utd and Sheffield Wed XI – Agree?

The Steel City Derby kicks us off in the Championship this weekend as Sheffield United play host to arch rivals Sheffield Wednesday at Bramall Lane.

The Steel City Derby is always a game worth watching as both sides usually go for it from the off and tomorrow night should be no different.

Indeed, the Blades need to kick-start their play-off challenge once more with three points whilst the Owls need to get a win to climb up the table and get away from the relegation battle that is getting too close for comfort.

As well as that, it’s Jos Luhukay’s first game in charge of the Owls and he’ll be looking to get off to a perfect start by winning at the home of his side’s most fiercest rivals.

Whilst we wait for kick-off tomorrow night, then, here at Football League World we’ve decided to take a look at what a combined XI would look like if all players from both sides were completely fit:

We’ve used a 3-5-2 to get the best of the great midfield options both clubs have. First, though, we’ve got Kieren Westwood in goal as he’s one of the best in the league.

Jack O’Connell, Chris Basham and Tom Lees make up a very solid looking defence whilst the midfield has power, creativity, industry and width as Adam Reach, Barry Bannan, Paul Coutts, John Fleck and George Baldock star.

Finally, up top, it’s man of the moment Leon Clarke alongside Fernando Forestieri who Owls fans surely can’t wait to see back.
