Leeds United

‘This is such an easy decision’ – Saiz and Alioski or £7.2m-rated Wolves ace: Who would you rather have?

If you had to choose between having Leeds United pair Ezgjan Alioski and Samu Saiz or Wolves’ £7.2m-rated attacker Diogo Jota in your team, who would you choose?

The writers here at FLW issue their verdicts….

Adam Simeoni

I would take Jota over the Leeds pair all day long.

One of the most consistent and dangerous players in the division, the Portuguese winger is miles ahead of the Leeds duo in terms of ability and temperament.

I wouldn’t want a player with a six-game spitting ban in my squad, or someone like Alioski who has gone missing for much of the season, over a player to Jota’s undeniable talent.

Sam Preston

This is such an easy decision – Jota, every day of the week.

Only one of these choices gives you a fighting chance of getting promoted and that’s Jota.

He is a cut above and a Premier League player in waiting.

He has been talismanic for Wolves and while Saiz and Alioski have had their moments, they can’t drag a team along like Jota can. There’s only one winner here.

George Dagless

Probably the Wolves man…

Don’t get me wrong, Samuel Saiz and Ezgjan Alioski are decent players – particularly the former – but Diogo Jota is a cut above.

He’s one of the best in the league and I expect to see him in the Premier League sooner rather than later.

Alfie Burns

Diogo Jota, without a doubt.

Saiz and Alioski have had their moments, but neither have been as consistent as Jota, especially the latter.

Saiz’s ill-discipline has cost Leeds and Alioski doesn’t look good enough, whereas Jota has looked a class above.
