Nottingham Forest head into action tonight against in-form Aston Villa, with Aitor Karanka's side looking to extend their own unbeaten run to six games in the Championship.

But with almost a full squad available to him, Karanka has a decision to make, as to who he partners with Jack Colback in the centre of Forest's midfield.

Players in the frame include Claudio Jacob and Adlène Guedioura, but who will get the nod?

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

If I were Aitor Karanka, I would opt with Claudio Yacob.

He performed well in the win over Hull at the weekend and is more destructive than most in the middle of the park.

That could be where the game is won and lost this evening, and with him in the side, Forest will have a better chance of controlling the midfield.

Plus they won at the weekend, so why change a winning side?

Gary Hutchinson

I’d play Yacob for now.

I was surprised when he moved there, but he’s put in some decent performances and has composure on the ball.

It’s a crucial time for Forest, with their outlay they should be top two.

Karanka needs to find his best XI, but we’ve been saying that for months now.

This is so tough - I wouldn’t be like to be Karanka when making this decision.

Both players offer defensive steel and a range of passing abilities, so it really is a tough call.

I’d go with Guedioura on the basis that he has worked so well with Colback this season.
