Wolves have finalised a deal to sign Willy Boly for £10 million, according to the Express and Star.

Is this a good move from Nuno Santo's side?

We discuss....

Christian Fuller

The defender has been Wolves’ rock at the back this season, and for that price is seems like reasonable business for Nuno Santo’s side.

A dominant centre back with height and power is always a must for newly promoted teams, so this is priceless.

Jay Williams

Boly forms such an integral part of a back-three and knows Nuno's style of play well.

The dominant and powerful defender was solid at the back in the Championship and snapping him up should be one of Wolves' first pieces of business.

Once he is through the door, Nuno needs to find an upgrade on Danny Batth to partner Boly and Conor Coady.

Ben Barkworth

Boly is a great signing because he was their best defender last season, so without him they could have struggled.

Wolves have been efficient with their transfer dealings already, which is a good sign for the fans ahead of the new season.

George Dagless

One of the best things they could do this summer.

Much is rightly made of the likes of Ruben Neves but this guy is also very important to Wolves.

He's a real rock of a defender at the back and possesses great strength so I think he is a top signing.

Alfie Burns

Wolves’ attention is going to be on adding to last season’s squad, but not before they’ve sealed a deal for Boly.

Boly was huge for Nuno’s side last season and it is vital that Wolves secure his long-term future ahead of their Premier League return.

Chris Gallagher

A great deal for Wolves.

They need to get this over the line as Boly is a huge player for them.

He should easily be able to handle the step up and the £10m fee is a bargain.
