Nottingham Forest are set to complete the signing of Claudio Yacob.

The former West Bromwich Albion midfielder is currently unattached and with free agents able to move without restriction, is having a medical at the City Ground today, according to John Percy of the Daily Telegraph.

Panagiotis Tachtsidis become Aitor Karanka’s 15th signing of the summer with Yacob set to become the 16th of what has been a pretty busy summer at the club as the Forest boss overhauls his squad for a potential promotion push.

In what was West Brom’s relegation season last term, Yacob made 18 appearances during his final campaign at The Hawthorns.

The combative Argentinian spend six years with the Black Country club making 175 appearances.

It is safe to say that many of the Forest faithful are bemused by their latest forthcoming addition.

With the signing imminent and the 31-year-old, here’s how the Nottingham Forest supporters have reacted on Twitter to the news of Yacob’s impending arrival.
