Birmingham City boss Pep Clotet claimed his side were 'tactically superb' in their dull 0-0 draw with Coventry City in the FA Cup on Saturday.

Even though Blues are a league higher than Mark Robins' men, they were second best for large parts of the game and they somehow escaped defeat after Callum O'Hare missed a late sitter.

Despite that, Clotet told the club's media that he was pleased with aspects of the way his team played and he obviously felt they were set up well.

"I thought we understood the game and tactically we were superb, as were Coventry. It became a very tactical game with very few chances for either side to break through."

However, it's fair to say that the fans did not agree with his assessment of the game and they were not happy with how the side performed considering they were playing a third tier side.

That was reflected at the stadium though, with the fans booing the team off following the stalemate.
