‘This is certainly a risk’ – Leeds United eyeing seven-goal midfielder move: The verdict

Venezia midfielder Leo Stulac is a transfer target for Leeds United, according to reports.

The 23-year-old scored seven goals and provided four assists from midfield in Serie B last season, and it seems his form has attracted interest from the Yorkshire club.

Is Stulac the type of player that Leeds need to be going for? Do you see much substance in this rumour?

We discuss….

George Dagless

This is certainly a risk.

He’s been playing for Venezia who have done okay in Serie B this season and there is a chance he could move to Serie A next year.

Do Leeds need to take such a punt, though? I’d say perhaps avoid for now.

Chris Gallagher

He sounds a promising player.

Leeds are lacking a quality ball-playing midfielder and whilst Forshaw was a welcome addition they still need more.

Keeping the ball will be vital under Bielsa and bringing in players to do that is a must, Stulac looks as though he fits the bill and could make an impact.

Alfie Burns

Leeds’ supporters will have their doubts, as Serie B players in the past haven’t impressed at Elland Road.

However, Stulac has earned himself a decent reputation, and at 23, could have a big future.

If Leeds chase a deal, it has to be at the right price, they can’t waste money again.

Ben Barkworth

Stulac could be a good signing because he would provide the control they need from deep positions.

Their midfield has been weak this season, so an upgrade in this area is key.
