Nottingham Forest have confirmed via their Twitter page that they have recalled Tyler Walker from his loan spell at Lincoln City.

The Reds are somewhat light in options in the final third, despite recently bringing in Nuna da Costa from Strasbourg to provide cover for leading goalscorer Lewis Grabban.

Rafa Mir was recalled by Wolves earlier on this month, leaving the Reds with only one senior striker on their books before the arrival of da Costa - arguably still not enough to cope with a promotion push.

But now, the club have taken the decision to recall Walker from his season-long loan spell at Lincoln City, after a hugely impressive spell at Sincil Bank.

The 23-year-old scored 16 goals in a total of 34 appearances for the Imps, establishing himself as one of the most lethal marksmen in the third tier.
