Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has a decision to make, amid speculation that Leicester City and Middlesbrough are interested in 18-year-old midfield starlet Jordan Stevens, according to the Mirror live transfer blog (29/01, 13.25pm).

The youngster has been at Elland Road since February 2018, having played previously for Forest Green Rovers, but has only made one appearance for the first team this season, when he came off the bench in the 2-1 defeat to Stoke City earlier in the month.

So should they let Stevens leave, or hold onto the youngster?

We discuss.....

George Dagless

"I'd advise him to stay put.

"Leicester have some good players and are willing to play younger ones too but I just think Stevens is better off at Leeds for now.

"He'll look at the other young players break through and think he can follow suit."

Gary Hutchinson

“This is an interesting one, that’s for sure.

“I can see the value for Leeds, but like Clarke I think staying put is best.

“This trend for young players to move to big clubs is stifling their development.”

Jay Taylor

“The 18-year-old is a talent having come through the Forest Green academy before his move to Elland Road.

“Leicester have some excellent young players, and if they are looking at Stevens, then there is indeed some evidence there that Leeds have a good player on their hands.

“It wouldn’t be a bad move for the youngster, who has already played once in the Championship this term.”
