Leeds United head to struggling Reading tonight knowing that a win can take them back to the top of the Championship, with rivals Norwich City not playing till Wednesday night.

Whites manager Marcelo Bielsa continues to name an unchanged side with the defensive pairing of Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper providing the solid base on which his side is built.

But which of these defensive giants is the most valuable player to Leeds?

We discuss......

Jacob Potter

"Jansson is more valuable.

"He’s a fans favourite and is the better defender between the two.

"He’s been one of their most consistent players this season, and rarely makes any errors."

Louie Chandler

"This is a tricky one.

"I actually think Cooper has been the better player this season but in terms of their worth, Jansson probably edges it.

"If both were to go in the summer, the Swede would fetch considerably more money."

Gary Hutchinson

“Jansson.

“They’re both top players, but Jansson is more valuable in terms of money.

“They wouldn’t want to be without either though.

“Defending is all about partnerships.”

Jay Taylor

“I think Cooper is more of a leader and resolute at the back.

“Jansson has the flair and personality that make him a fan favourite.

“But Cooper does the dirty with, with much of it going unnoticed.

“For me, Cooper is the main man – that is why he is captain, after all.”
