Birmingham City manager Pep Clotet faces a difficult battle to hold onto one of his star youngsters with Manchester United reportedly prepared to offer the Blues £15 million for teenager Jude Bellingham, according to a report in The Sun.

The 16-year-old is considered to be one of the best youngsters in English football, who has scored four times in 24 Championship appearances for the Blues so far this season.

So should Bellingham make the move to United or stay put at St Andrews?

"This is a tough decision for Bellingham.

"He's been excellent, if a little raw, this season and you feel the best thing for him would likely to be to continue playing regular games for Birmingham.

"The teenager is not a dissimilar player to Dele Alli, who remained at MK Dons and got some experience under his belt before making a switch to the Premier League–and that did great things for his development.

"However, the draw of Manchester United, one the biggest clubs in the world, is going to be huge and joining them could be huge for his development as well.

"The ideal move for Bellingham would be to sign with the North West club and secure a long loan deal back to the Blues."

“Although Bellingham will be tempted to move to Old Trafford following United’s reported interest in him, he may find it more beneficial to stay at Birmingham for the foreseeable future.

“Whilst the Blues are currently offering him the opportunity to play first-team football on a regular basis, the Red Devils may not be able to match this incentive due to the presence of Andreas Pereira, Juan Mata and Scott McTominay.

“Instead of limiting himself to sporadic appearances in the Premier League, Bellingham is almost guaranteed to be one of the first names on Birmingham’s team-sheet which in turn is doing no harm to his development.

“By continuing to ply his trade at St Andrew’s for the next few years, the midfielder will be ready to make the step up to the top-flight either with or without Birmingham when the opportunity arises.”

"If it all comes to Bellingham's decision, then I think that he should want to stay at St. Andrew's and continue being a key player for Birmingham City.

"Manchester United is obviously the dream move for every young player all across the world as they are arguably the biggest club in the world, so it must be very exciting for Bellingham to learn of this speculation.

"But right now, he is 16 years of age and is playing week in, week out for a side that still have a chance of promotion from the Championship. What more can you ask for at the age of 16?

"Would he get that kind of game time at Old Trafford? I highly doubt it, as he is nowhere near the quality of Paul Pogba and Andreas Pereira in midfield. He needs to stay at Birmingham and keep on developing as a player."
