Derby County have had a bid accepted by Brentford for winger Florian Jozefzoon, according to West London Sport.
Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United were firmly in the race to sign the 27-year-old, and do still remain keen, but it now seems that Frank Lampard's Derby are in pole position to snap up the winger.
Is this a blow for Leeds? Will Leeds regret not pushing harder to sign him?
We discuss....
Alfie Burns
Yes, 100%.
Jozefzoon would be a great addition at Elland Road and if he goes to Derby, it could haunt Leeds next season.
Radrizzani needs to get his hand in his pocket and match Derby’s bid.
Chris Gallagher
Not really.
There's no doubt he would've added something to the Leeds squad but they have enough players who can play out wide or attacking midfield roles such as Alioski, Dallas, Hernandez and Saiz.
So, whilst Jozefzoon would give them pace and natural width, at the minute Leeds have bigger priorities, such as bringing in a striker and a centre-back.
Christian Fuller
This is a real blow for Orta and Bielsa.
It seems that Jozefzoon was firmly on their transfer radar, and to be pipped by Derby County, it's a real bitter pill to swallow.
Leeds will need to move on from swiftly from the Dutchman and look at other transfer targets.
