After two straight defeats, beleaguered Reading boss Paul Clement really is in the last chance saloon, as his side prepare to face Millwall at the weekend with the aim of improving on their lowly 21st place in the Championship.

It has been a shocker of a start for Reading picking up only nine points from a possible 36 and only a point ahead of the Championships basement club Hull City.

So will defeat against Millwall at the weekend spell the end for Clement at Reading?

We discuss.....

Jay Taylor

Millwall have a track record of getting managers sacked after clubs lose to them and I am sure many Reading fans are hoping for a negative result to accelerate the dismissal this weekend.

Defeat would be the lesser of two evils of Paul Clement is sacked and if Reading do lose to the Lions this weekend, you have to imagine his stint at the Madejski will become untenable and he will leave his post.

The football is poor, there’s no direction or style of play - it’s a mess.

So I firmly believe if Reading lose to Millwall on Saturday, Clement will be off.

Gary Hutchinson

It is hard to say.

Clement hasn’t had the impact many hoped, and his signings haven’t settled either.

They’re in dire straights if they keep him and it is possible he goes after Millwall.

Tough life as a Championship Manager, isn’t it?

George Dagless

I think so.

This is a must-win game for Reading but it's going to be tough.

Millwall seem to have turned a corner of late and I think we could see a managerial change soon.

Jacob Potter

It’s inevitable.

Clement has already been linked out of the club, with Phil Parkinson rumoured to be taking over at the Royals.

Clement only has a win percentage of 23% and a defeat to Millwall at home would put the final nail in his coffin as Reading manager.
