Reading manager Paul Clement heads into the weekend crunch fixture at home to Millwall knowing that his job could be on the line, if he cannot reverse the form that has the Royals down in 21st place just a point ahead of the division's basement club Hull City.

The Reading cause though is not helped by the news that Icelandic striker Jon Dadi Bodvarsson is unavailable for the match due to injury, joining Sam Baldock who is also a doubt for the game.

But how big a blow is the loss of Bodvarsson to the Royals?

We discuss.....

Jacob Potter

It’s a huge blow for the Royals.

The Icelandic international has been a rare bright spark in a disappointing Royals campaign this season with seven league goals already to his name.

With Sam Baldock a doubt for the game as well, it leaves Paul Clement with a lack of options up front.

Marc McNulty should be given the chance to lead the line in a game which could be Clement’s last as manager of Reading if they were to suffer defeat.

George Dagless

This is a massive blow.

He's Reading's leading threat and one of the few men that can say that he has performed this season.

He could have been the difference this weekend and now it looks that bit harder to see the Royals scoring.

Gary Hutchinson

He’s their leading scorer, so yes.

Not only that, but it is a game they’ll want to win too.

It might just be the last big nail in Clement’s coffin.

Louie Chandler

A massive blow.

He may not be the most glamorous striker in the league but he is one of the only Reading players capable of effecting a game on his own.

Baldock and McNulty are yet to find their feet so it is a huge loss.
