Leeds United were able to capitalise on rivals Sheffield United's defeat at the weekend, with two goals in the last 20 minutes against Millwall enough to take all three points and leap-frog the Blades into the second automatic promotion spot in the Championship.

Whites manager Marcelo Bielsa is not resting on his laurels though and is planning for the future, with a move for Fulham midfielder Stefan Johansen a possibility, according to Football Insider.

Johansen signed for Fulham in August 2016 and has scored 19 goals in 92 appearances for the Cottagers, before heading out on loan at West Brom in January 2019.

So would Johansen get into Leeds' current starting XI?

We discuss........

George Dagless

"Tough to say.

"He's a player who has plenty of quality and offers attacking threat but Leeds' midfield is very strong at the moment.

"He'd be a good option to have without doubt though."

"This is a hard one.

"Johansen is a superb player and was sensational for Fulham last term, and normally he'd go straight into any team in the second tier.

"But when Hernandez and Klich are on song, they are arguably the best midfield duo in the division.

"It would be a fantastic option to have."

Jay Taylor

“I think he would rival Klich for a place in the team.

“But Right now – he can’t even get in the West Brom side so getting into the Leeds side would be a tough ask for him.

“A good, solid squad player, yes – and if the Whites fail to go up, I think he could be a solid asset.”
