Plenty of Bristol City fans have reacted to the news that midfielder James Morton had been recalled from his loan spell with Forest Green Rovers.

Back in September, Morton signed a new four-year deal at Ashton Gate and the 20-year-old is now expected to be involved in and around the Robins first team during the second-half of the season.

During his time with the Green Army, Morton racked up 17 appearances in all competitions, helping Mark Cooper and his side into contention for a League Two play-off place.

Last season he spent the campaign in the Vanarama South with Bath City, netting one an assisting 12 more in 50 appearances as they made the play-offs.

Morton arrives back into a club suffering from a huge downturn in form in recent weeks with Johnson's side losing five of their last six league games, plunging them out of the play-offs and down into 11th as a result.
