Charlton Athletic striker Lyle Taylor has issued a message wishing the club's supporters well amid the EFL's fixture suspension due to ongoing health concerns.

It was announced last week that all fixtures will be postponed until April 30th at the earliest in response to recent events, with this meaning Charlton's survival bid in the Championship has been temporarily placed on hold.

The Addicks dropped into the relegation spots following their 1-0 defeat to Middlesbrough in the final match before the suspension, with Lee Bowyer's men now having nine matches to avoid the drop when the season resumes.

Taylor has once again provided a vital source of goals for the south London side this term despite his injury problems, with the 29-year-old having netted 11 goals from his 22 Championship outings since the start of the campaign.

The club's leading marksman has now taken to the official club Twitter account to send a message to supporters at this difficult time, with Taylor sending good wishes to the fanbase while also urging them to remain indoors.

Plenty of Charlton supporters have responded to Taylor's message by expressing their appreciation of the frontman, while others voiced their hope that the club is able to keep hold of the player this summer despite his contract expiring.
