After impressing in the midfield of Rotherham United last season despite the club’s pitiful attempt to avoid relegation, loan midfielder Tom Adeyemi looks set to stay in the Championship once his contract with parent club Cardiff expires at the end of the month.

Reports have emerged in recent days that Adeyemi will choose between offers from Ipswich Town and Norwich City, but the decision should be an easy one for the Milton Keynes born player to choose from.

25-year-old Adeyemi began his career with the Carrow Road side, and a return to East Anglian has to be the player’s preferred option.

An extremely talented individual, Adeyemi turned down an offer from Cambridge University to pursue a career in football, and the ambition of playing in the Premier League will be sure to overcome the player.

New Norwich City Daniel Farke will look to put together a team capable of challenging for the title next season, and Adeyemi has the potential to become a key component of any title push.

The player has a point to prove at his boyhood club having been sent to Birmingham in a permanent deal in 2013, and is still young enough to make a success of himself at the club.

The Norwich midfield could be set for a clear out this summer with Jonny Howson strongly linked with a move away from the club, and Adeyemi would be the perfect addition in the middle.

Strong and persistent, Adeyemi could dominate the midfield for the Canaries, and after adding more goals to his game at Rotherham last season, could pop up with a strike or two for the Carrow Road club.

A move to Norwich is a no brainer for Adeyemi, and his top flight dream can be achieved at his boyhood club.
