Norwich City manager Daniel Farke is not hanging about as he prepares for life in the Premier League next season, after the Canaries snapped up Manchester City winger Patrick Roberts on a season-long loan, as reported in The Sun.

Roberts, 22, spent this season on loan at Spanish La Liga side Girona where he made 21 appearances in all competitions, having previously spent 18 months on loan at Scottish champions Celtic.

So would Roberts be a good signing for Norwich?

We discuss........

George Dagless

"I'm excited to see this.

"I like Roberts, he was a fine player at Celtic and he's never been afraid to take on a challenge after his move to Girona.

"He deserves a crack in the Premier League and this could be the making of him."

Alfie Burns

“There’s a reason that Roberts is a Manchester City player and he’s clearly got talent.

“Norwich are going to need a sprinkling of more quality heading back to the Premier League, and you feel what they do in the early months of the window is going to be key.

“This feels like a good start to the window.”

George Brooks

"Roberts is an exciting young player and would be a good signing for Norwich.

"He is clearly a player with a lot of potential and would suit Norwich's style of play.

"Daniel Farke could be able to get the best out of him and could he could become an important player for Norwich in the future."
