Aston Villa have been linked with a double loan swoop for Leicester City duo Daniel Amartey and Leonardo Ulloa, according to the Telegraph.

Bruce is keen to bolster his squad to ensure they have the best chance of attaining promotion to the Premier League.

Would they be a good signings for Villa?

We discuss....

Bringing Ulloa and Amartey to Villa Park would be a shrewd move from Bruce, as both would improve Aston Villa’s squad heading into the second-half of the season.

The prospect of Ulloa at Villa Park is one that will excite the club’s supporters, as the striker is exactly the type of the player needed this month.

This could be a stroke of genius from Bruce.

George Dagless

I think both would be excellent signings.

Amartey might not be good enough for the Premier League but should bring a lot of energy to Villa's side.

Ulloa, meanwhile, would be a class player and one I think would fire Villa into the play-offs.

Sam Preston

Ulloa would score goals at Championship level. However, I see him as more of a plan B, to throw on when the game hasn't quite gone Villa's way.

There is a lot to be said for that, but I wouldn't expect him to come in, start and score eight to ten goals in the run-in.

Amartey is versatile and that has its uses but I wouldn't expect him to start either.
