Reading manager Jose Gomes will be planning for another season in the Championship after the Royals retained their status in the English second tier, eventually finishing the season in 20th spot, seven points above the relegation zone.

With finances tight at the Royals, players will need to leave before the manager can bring in some fresh faces, so with Wolves interested in young striker Danny Loader according to Football Insider, this may be a transfer Gomes is prepared to sanction.

So would Loader be a good signing for Wolves?

We discuss........

George Dagless

"It could be.

"He's a good young player and though it's hard to predict the career of a youngster you can have a decent guess.

"Wolves are a club on the up and would probably be able to get some good performances out of him."

Louie Chandler

"This could be a shrewd move.

"Loader is yet to shine at a first team level but is showing a lot of promise and at 18 he looks like a real talent.

"Bringing him in now rather than when his value rockets would be wise."

Gary Hutchinson

“He’s young and has plenty of Championship experience, so there’s clearly lots of potential there.

“I couldn’t see him breaking into the first team though, so it appears they’re speculating to accumulate.

“My question in this situation is never what is best for the club, but the player.”
