Norwich City are edging closer to sealing a season-long loan deal for Sheffield Wednesday striker Jordan Rhodes, according to the Daily Mail.

Is this a good move from Daniel Farke? Can Rhodes revitalise his career at Carrow Road?

We discuss...

Jay Williams

This could be a masterstroke from Farke. Rhodes knows where the net is at this level but he needs to recapture his confidence in a new environment.

If Norwich could get him back to his Blackburn form, then they have a top striker to lead their promotion charge.

Gary Hutchinson

I think so, I think he still brings goals despite his Wednesday spell.

It could work well for both parties, if he rediscovers that instinct he once had, he could be worth a decent sum once more.

Alfie Burns

It’s a risk, but one that could work out.

Rhodes has struggled over the last 18 months, but if Norwich can get him firing, he could be lethal.

It’ll be an interesting one to watch.

George Dagless

Rhodes would be a good arrival.

It is perhaps a risk given his recent form but if he can get his confidence back he's the striker Norwich will have been waiting for.

It remains to be seen what happens with Nelson Oliveira but a Rhodes in form can certainly take over.
