Kemar Roofe is the latest Leeds United player set for a spell on the sidelines, with confirmation of his setback coming yesterday.  

Leeds moved to announce that Roofe would be absent for a spell with knee ligament damage, although the Yorkshire side failed to provide a timescale.

It’s expected that Roofe, who has scored 14 goals this season, will return for the run-in, but Leeds’ failure to put a timescale on that means there are doubts.

Now, the Yorkshire Evening Post have looked at the impact of Roofe and what Leeds will be missing, with the pressure firmly on Patrick Bamford to step up and deliver.

Bamford has been missing for the bulk of the season with his own injury problems, whilst Izzy Brown, another long-term casualty, will be someone else supporters want to step up.
