It has been the perfect start to the 2017/18 Championship season for Cardiff.
Three games have resulted in three wins, plenty of goals, and three clean sheets.
They are currently the only club in the division to not concede a goal and one of only three clubs to win all of their opening three games.
Neil Warnock has had a very busy summer bringing in seven new faces to the Cardiff City Stadium.
He doesn’t look finished yet though as reports from the BBC have revealed that the Bluebirds have made an offer for Preston North End captain, Greg Cunningham.
Here at FLW, we think that would be a fantastic signing to an already solid back line.
The 26-year-old only signed for Preston two years ago but was named as their player of the season for his impressive work during the 2016/17 campaign as was handed the captaincy only recently.
The deciding factor as to whether or not Warnock will fully pursue the left back is if Joe Bennett leaves for Fulham.
If that happens then the money received in that deal should be enough to persuade both Preston and Cunningham to part ways with each other.
In Cunningham, the league leaders would be getting an absolute rock at the back.
He’s strong, loves a tackle and his reading of the game allows him to make plenty of interceptions too.
The Irishman also enjoys pushing forward at times but expect him to mainly stay back and let his teammates do the talking up front.
