Prior to Ian Holloway's arrival at QPR this season, the R's had been struggling under former manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, and a season of mixing it with the division's worst looked very much on the agenda.

But fast-forward a couple of months and former Blackpool boss Holloway has transformed the Hoops into a side that right now, look more than a match for anyone in the division.

They've begun scoring goals and the January additions of Matt Smith and Luke Freeman have been fantastic and looking ahead to next season, things are looking very bright indeed for supporters in the White City.

But with a big summer of rebuilding ahead for Holloway, thought has quickly turned to who might be coming in over the summer months.

And one name we think would do a cracking job at Loftus Road next season is £5.1million-rated Crystal Palace winger Bakary Sako, who has struggled for game-time at Selhurst Park this season.

The former Wolves man nearly left the club in January but was kept on in order to provide back-up on the flanks for the likes of Zaha and Townsend.

But he's still not been able to oust the England favourites from the team and it seems the longer the season goes on, the more important it is for him to get regular game-time elsewhere next season.

Whether £5million is out of QPR's price range is yet to be seen but if they could bring him in on the cheap, or even on a loan move, the former Wolves man would add some seriously attacking prowess to this QPR side.

Pace, power and a real directness that made him shine at Molineux is what might be needed to take QPR to the next level and what could make them very real promotion-chasers next season.

There will be some good teams competing again next time out but with this sort of business, there's absolutely no reason why QPR might not be up there themselves this time next year.
