Bolton Wanderers have won promotion back to the Championship and will be keen to avoid an immediate return to League One under manager Phil Parkinson.

The Trotters failed to keep close enough to Sheffield United to challenge for the League One title, but held their nerve to finish runners up and regain their place in the second tier of English football.

Next season will be a different kettle of fish all together though, and Bolton will know they need to strengthen in the summer transfer window if they are to fight against and succeed in staying in the Championship.

One player who could be targeted by Bolton is League One and Scunthorpe hotshot Josh Morris, who has had a tremendous season for the Iron as they have themselves made a decent fist of trying to win promotion.

Morris has managed 19 league goals for Scunthorpe, and in the first half of the season especially,  was one of the standout performers in across all four leagues in the English game.

Morris is currently valued at £425k by website Transfermarkt, and although this valuation could be below what many people would think, Morris signing for Bolton would indeed make plenty of sense.

Bolton fans, what do you think to this? Would you take Josh Morris? Let us know in the comments!
