Aston Villa continue to soar at the moment in the Championship and their Premier League challenge is looking well and truly alive.

The men from Villa Park have gone on a serious run of good form in recent games with them winning every Championship fixture that they have played since the beginning of 2018.

For sure, then, if they keep that up they will be in the Premier League next year and Jack Grealish is certainly proving to be one of the men leading the charge at the moment.

The £4.5m rated star is running games right now with his display over Birmingham only underlining that further and it could be that he is subject of interest in the summer window.

We think he should stay at Villa regardless for next season, though, and here's why...

At Grealish's age, he needs to be playing regular football in order to reach his potential.

Certainly, since returning from injury he has been getting loads of minutes and that has paid dividends with him performing out of his skin at times.

If he moved away, he might not get the game-time he does right now and that would hamper him.

Steve Bruce has made it clear that he wants to build his side around the attacking midfielder and has duly done that this season.

If he left Villa, he'd surely become just one of a number of stars and might not get the same treatment.

Few players his age are the leading light at their clubs and he should remain with Villa and see where such a system around him takes him.

Villa fans really do love Grealish.

He might have had some issues at times at the club and away from it but he's a local lad and Villa through and through.

Any supporter of any club wants to see their local stars lead for their club and Grealish shouldn't give that up just yet at a side the size of Villa.
