Nottingham Forest have a decision to make on the future of Anthony Knockaert this week, with the winger’s loan deal set to expire at the City Ground tomorrow.
Knockaert joined Forest on loan from Fulham back in October, becoming Chris Hughton’s first and only signing in charge of the Reds to date.
The 29-year-old has made 16 league appearances for the Reds thus far, scoring one goal and registering one assist for Hughton’s side.
With his loan deal set to expire on the 7th of January, it remains to be seen whether Forest extend Knockaert’s time at the club or not.
According to Daniel Taylor of The Athletic, Forest are keen to do so – however they are set to face competition for his signature.
Taylor claims that another club from outside the United Kingdom are also interested in signing Knockaert, with Fulham looking to receive as much money as they can for the winger.
Knockaert is a player who has divided opinions amongst fans since joining Forest, with the winger failing to show his ability on a consistent basis.
Here, we take a look at Forest fans’ reactions to this update…
Sooner go for Rosicki – Tony is Pony IMO #NFFC

And I’m sure this has nothing to do with Fulham negotiating the loan fee for the rest of the season…..
