Thibaud Verlinden has sent a message to Stoke City on social media, ahead of the Championship clash with Nottingham Forest this evening.

The 20-year-old winger is currently on loan from Stoke at Bolton Wanderers until January, but he is still hoping that his parent club can get a result tonight at the City Ground.

Stoke are yet to win in the league this season and are currently second from bottom of the Championship table, having taken just two points from a possible 24 so far.

A series of poor results and underwhelming performances has increased the pressure on manager Nathan Jones, who many feel could lose his job if his side fail to win tonight.

Even though he is on loan at Bolton, Verlinden is hoping that Stoke can get a positive result tonight and has sent message to his parent club on Twitter.

Stoke now face a tough game against Nottingham Forest, who have made a promising start to the season under new head coach Sabri Lamouchi and will go top of the Championship table with three points this evening.

The Verdict

It'll be a very tough game for Stoke against Nottingham Forest tonight, but it's a massive game for the players and their manager.

If Stoke don't start to pick up a few wins soon, they could really struggle this season. Jones is running out of time to turn things around and if his side lose again tonight, he could be in trouble.

You can't help but feel that his job is on the line tonight, so he'll be hoping that his Stoke players can put in a good performance and come away with a positive result, but it'll be tough for them.
