Derby County manager Frank Lampard has given Rams fans a boost, with him confirming that winger Harry Wilson is fit again and back in contention for selection.

The Liverpool loanee had been suffering from a hip problem that has kept him out of the Rams' last two fixtures, but now he is in contention for selection for the FA Cup replay against Southampton tonight.

So is the return of Wilson good news for Derby?

We discuss.....

Alfie Burns

“It’s excellent news, they've looked toothless without him.

“He brings something unique to the team that was clearly missing against Leeds on Friday.

“Wilson can create something from nothing, and with him back in the fold, Derby will get stronger.”

George Dagless

"Great news.

"He's been arguably their best player this season and is a match-winner of great quality.

"Derby need to bounce back after Friday and Wilson will help them do exactly that."

Gary Hutchinson

“Obviously it is.

“Wilson is a great little player and someone we’ll hear more of over the coming years.

“He’s got trickery and offers width, but can chip in with a goal.

“He’s a great asset to have.”

Jay Taylor

“Great news if you are of a Derby persuasion, not so much if you are on the side of Southampton it would be a worry.

“Derby have lacked a real edge to their play in the attacking third of the pitch and Wilson has been that spark in recent weeks with the more unassuming performances of Mason Mount in recent outings.

“Having him back could tilt the cup tie in the Rams’ favour on Wednesday evening.”
