Preston North End will be coming in to start the new week on the training ground, with Alex Neil's side feeling better than normal, following the 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest at the weekend, a result that saw the Lilywhites up to 15th in the Championship.

The latest win gave Preston a return of 10 unbeaten from 11 played and show's that Neil's side are moving in the right direction.

But does this latest win prove Preston are back to their best?

We discuss.....

Jacob Potter

They're getting close to their best.

I was shocked to see them really struggling at the start of the season but they are starting to replicate the impressive form they had shown all of last season.

If they can remain unbeaten for the remainder of this year, then they will be a real threat to the top six who are vying for a play-off place.

Alfie Burns

I’m not sure this is their best, I feel that there’s more to come.

At the start of the season people were talking about them challenging the top-six, and I’m not sure they’re at that level just yet.

Their stamina over Christmas will be the true test.

Gary Hutchinson

They’re certainly looking to be back on form, yes.

Their start baffled many, including myself, but it does seem that they’re finding some form.

Outside top six contenders? Maybe.

They’re functional, effective and talented.
