Ezgjan Alioski is a player that has really endeared himself to the Leeds United faithful on the pitch in recent weeks.

However, off the pitch, Alioski's social media presence on Twitter has started to rile a handful of Leeds United fans, with a number of fans not happy with how a PR team seemingly manages his account more often than not.

All you have to do is see the replies to this Tweet.....

Is it fair to say Alioski's tweets are too 'PR'y'?

We discuss.....

Completely!

It's not a major issue, but it won't do him any favours. Even though we know it goes on with many players, fans want to see the real you on social media, not what your management company thinks.

Leeds fans can obviously see through it and they will probably get bored of the same thing after every game.

George Dagless

They're a bit odd.

Alioski seems like a nice guy and is only trying to drum up support but it does seem a bit forced at times.

It especially grated when he wasn't performing as well as he could earlier this season and so he needs to be a bit more savvy.

Adam Simeoni

He needs to time them better.

Posting your own personal highlights following a heavy defeat will only serve to enrage fans, so perhaps he should only share when Leeds have picked up points.

His PR team haven't been the most savvy on occasions.

Alfie Burns

You can see why it might annoy Leeds’ supporters, although I doubt it has much to do with the player himself.

I can imagine that Alioski’s agency is pushing the winger to share posts of his match highlights, which begs the question – are they trying to put him in the shop window?
