Graham Potter will be content with his side's start to life back in the second tier of English football.

Swansea City have picked up eight points from their opening four fixtures, and will be hoping to live up to their expectations of being a promotion contending side this season.

Potter, who took charge over as manager at the Liberty Stadium in June this year, has brought in a number of players to bolster the squad that suffered relegation from the Premier League last season, with the aim of a rapid return to England’s top flight.

Whilst Swansea City fans will be relatively content with the start to their campaign, it hasn’t all been plain sailing for the Swans this summer.

Here is out verdict on what we believe was the worst decision made by Swansea City over the last three months.

Alfie Burns

Not getting the signing of Ryan Woods over the line.

Swansea’s squad is strong, but Woods would’ve added so much.

They were in for him, but didn’t get the signing over the line. They’ll know they’ve messed up.

Christian Fuller

Letting Jordan Ayew move to Crystal Palace.

I appreciate that when a side gets relegated, it is not unusual to sell their top players, but Ayew could have torn up the Championship.
