Having won at the weekend, being two points off top spot in the table and able to go top of the Championship when they play their game in hand this week, all seems to be going fairly well for Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa.

That though, has not stopped defeated Bolton Wanderers boss Phil Parkinson, coming out with the comment that there is "anxiety in the air" at Elland Road, following his side's 2-1 defeat there on Saturday, as reported in the YEP.

It can be argued that Leeds do have a history of a collapsing at the key moments of a season, but this year they do look like a side that can make the final step to reach the Premier League.

But in reality will Leeds choke and fail to make the top two?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

“Phil Parkinson, of all people, should know what anxiety tastes like.

“His side lost, didn’t they?

“I’m not sure he’s right. Any title hunt or promotion race breeds a certain panic at this time of the season.

“They’ve feeling it at Oakwell and Sincil Bank too, it’s the same everywhere.”

Jacob Potter

"They’ll crack under the pressure.

"Leeds have a habit of falling short at the final hurdle and I can’t see this being any different this season.

"They’ve got games against some of their promotion rivals still to come, and I think they’ll bottle it again."

George Harbey

"Judging off the performance at the weekend, no I don’t think so.

"It could have been a potential banana skin when Bolton equalised, but Leeds were comfortable throughout and deserved the win.

"It’s mind games from Parkinson."

Jay Taylor

“It happens every year.

“Around this time, Leeds drop like a stone – they are one of a few teams who tend to bottle it at this time of year.

“With the form of Norwich and Sheffield United, I can see United having to make do with the play-offs and missing out that way.”
