Injured Sheffield Wednesday forward Gary Hooper may still be recovering, but that has not stopped interest from the MLS, with both DC United and Vancouver Whitecaps keen on the 30-year-old, according to Sky Sports.

Hooper is out of contract in the summer at Hillsborough and with interest, it looks very likely that a move away for the player is very much on the cards.

So should the Owls let Hooper leave?

We discuss.....

I think it is time for a new challenge and a change for Gary Hooper.

Injuries have taken their toll and ruined his time at Hillsborough, and at 30-years-old, now is the time to get as much out of the rest of his career as possible.

A move away could do him the power of good, and if on top form, a Hooper in the MLS could be a dangerous proposition.

If a bid came in, Wednesday should allow him to leave.

Chris Gallagher

Without a doubt.

He has suffered with injuries so much over the past 18 months and he won't be the same player now.

As well as that, he's sure to be on a decent wage. He should be moved on as the Owls look for a fresh start under Bruce in the summer.

George Dagless

They'll be tempted to sell.

Hooper is a fine forward on his day but injuries are ruining his time at the Owls.

They will be torn over this but if the right offer comes in you can see it.
