Leeds United are weighing up a double swoop for Peterborough United duo Marcus Maddison and Jack Marriott, according to reports.

The pair have been in superb form for Grant McCann's Posh side so far in League One, and they both look capable of cutting it in the Championship.

Would this potential double signing be a good move for Leeds?

We discuss.....

Adam Simeoni

Maddison and Marriott are on fire for the Posh, and appear ready to make the step to the Championship in January.

The catch however is the cost of the pair, with chairman Darragh MacAnthony known to drive a hard bargain for his most-prized assets.

Marriott only joined Peterborough in the summer from League Two Luton, and with the club pushing for promotion, sales will not be on the mind of the club's hierarchy.

I think this potential double deal is dead before it has even started, and Christiansen should turn his attentions to other targets.

George Dagless

I think they'd be two fantastic signings.

Leeds would obviously be taking a risk in offering the stars a big step up but I think they would flourish at the club.

Jack Marriott in particular could be a real hit in the Championship and helping the club challenge for the top six.

Alfie Burns

This could be an exciting double deal for Leeds in January, and one I think would be well received at Elland Road.

Whilst there is always risk to asking players to take the step-up from League One into the Championship, it is hard to ignore the form of Marriott and Maddison this season.

Despite some impressive attacking performances this season, Leeds are certainly in need of attacking reinforcements and this deal could be one that gives Christiansen’s squad another dimension.
