Norwich City manager Daniel Farke will be full steam ahead in his preparations for life in the Premier League, and must have a good feeling knowing that his side are not involved in the end of season lottery that is the Championship play-offs.

Farke will know though that his recruitment over the next few months will be crucial if the Canaries are to be a success in English top-flight, with reinforcements up-front something that the Norwich boss is likely to consider.

So despite a superb season from Teemu Pukki in this title winning season, should strengthening the attack be a priority for Farke and Norwich?

We discuss.........

Gary Hutchinson

“They need to strengthen everywhere, but yes they do need another forward.

“Pukki has been great and I hope he gets his chance, but what if the season kicked off and he struggled.

“They need someone like Shane Long to come off the bench, someone with the experience of this level.”

Ben Lang

“They'd be foolish not to.

“Pukki should go into the season as Norwich’s first-choice striker still, but there is no guarantee he will repeat this season’s success.

“I would like to see Norwich go for a proven and experienced Premier League goal scorer who they can get for a cheap fee. Someone like Ryan Babel would be ideal.”

Toby Wilding

"They have to.

"It should be remembered that this is at the minute, a one off season for Puuki in the major league, and that seems like a lot to be relying on in the first season back in the top flight.

"If Puuki picks up a long term injury early in the season, Norwich could find themselves in some deal of trouble, if they haven't an alternative regular source of goals to the Finn."

Louie Chandler

"I don't think so.

"Perhaps adding a bit more depth is needed but I cannot see any of their first choice attackers struggling in the Prem.

"It would be very harsh on Hernandez, Stiepermann, Buendia or Pukki to cut them now."
