West Brom have enjoyed a good start under Slaven Bilic, with Albion fourth in the Championship and unbeaten in the league.

And, two other Baggies players have had a productive opening month - Jonathan Leko and Sam Field. The duo were loaned to Charlton on deadline day last month and have player a part in helping the Addicks to second ahead of the international break.

Winger Leko has started five times for Lee Bowyer and has impressed with his pace and skill in the final third, whilst central midfielder Field has featured in the last three fixtures for the Londoners as they have picked up seven points.

Whilst Charlton fans will obviously be delighted with the impact the pair have made, Albion do have recall clauses as part of the deal and they could return to The Hawthorns in January.

So, is this something Bilic should consider?

Our writers take a look...

Dean Cooke

"They've both been brilliant for Charlton so far, but Leko has really started to show his true potential.

"It's an odd one, as West Brom would have never thought that after six games, it would be Charlton who were rivalling them for a place in the Premier League.

"Obviously it's still early days, but if they were to continue in this rich vein of form, Slaven Bilic would have to consider recalling them. Otherwise, it might have consequences over the season for the Baggies whilst improving their squad's options."

Ned Holmes

"At this point I’m not sure I can see them recalling either player.

"Both Leko and Field have been fantastic for Charlton but West Brom have got a strong squad and made a number of additions on the wing and in central midfield over the summer.

"They sent the duo out to get regular first-team experience, so to pull them back to likely play bit-part roles seems a mistake.

"There has been reports that West Ham have a recall clause for Grady Diangana, so if the Premier League club decide to bring him back in January then the Baggies may do the same with Leko."

Chris Gallagher

"They would be stupid to not consider it.

"Firstly, if Charlton do manage to keep up their superb form up until the New Year, Albion won't want to have two players helping a side that could be seen as a promotion rival.

"As well as that, January can be a difficult month when it comes to bringing players in. So, Albion know they have a talented winger and a reliable midfielder out on loan. You wouldn't risk signing someone else when you know they can come back.

"It's a situation that they will have to continue to monitor but if they keep performing then it's a no-brainer to bring the duo back and they will be in a position to help Bilic's promotion push."
