Football League World's West Bromwich Albion fan pundit Sarah Rudge says she is confident that her side can record back-to-back wins when they face Reading on Wednesday night.

The Baggies beat a spirited Luton Town side 2-1 on Saturday at Kenilworth Road and Rudge is confident that Slaven Bilic's side will fair much better against the Royals - if lessons are learnt.

"We are more than capable of sealing all three points as long as we apply ourselves as we did in the second-half against Luton," the regular punter told Football League World.

"We showed a real attacking threat and defended resolutely against the Hatters and we will be looking to remain unbeaten at home especially as we have a tough trip to Derby County at the weekend.

"If our key players can perform to the level they are capable of we have more than enough to win the game."

The Baggies fell behind early on against the Hatters through Harry Cornick, but a half-time change from Bilic, that saw Kyle Edwards replaced by Grady Diangana, swung the momentum of the game.

The West Ham United loanee changed the game for the visitors, scoring twice in three minutes at the start of the half, taking their record to two wins and one draw in the process.

And, ahead of the Wednesday night showdown, Rudge is keen to see a few changes.

"I would like to see Diangana start as he was fantastic against Luton and scored his two goals, whilst Edwards did appear to be a little tired on Saturday in the first-half," she said.

"I also think Austin may come in to start in place of Zohore who, although he played much better against Luton, still doesn’t possess the attacking threat of Austin."

However, Reading have certainly improved following their relegation battle of 2018/19.

Last weekend saw them comfortably dispatch promotion-hopefuls Cardiff City 3-0 at the Madejski, with new arrival George Puscas netting twice.

But Rudge is well aware of the threats they possess.

"They have made some good additions, with Michael Morrison in defence who was very good at Birmingham City," she said.

"Their strikers, Yakou Meite and George Puscas, also seem to be a real threat up-front so they certainly won’t be a pushover.

"As most teams will tend to do at the Hawthorns, they will make it difficult for us and it's up to us to try and break them down."
