It is fair to say that almost everyone connected with Portsmouth will be disappointed with the way that things have gone for the club so far this term, with the south coast outfit currently languishing down in sixteenth place after over a quarter of the season gone.

With Pompey playing a largely direct style of play under Kenny Jackett, things just haven't gone their way this campaign, with high profile signings such as striker John Marquis having so far failed to have made the grade since arriving at Fratton Park.

This combined with a series of poor results has seen the pressure heightened around the club, with a vast majority of the club's supporters venting their anger at the former Millwall boss at games and online.

It has made for an unsavoury atmosphere around the club at present, which can't be good for anyone right now, and as such the club owner, Michael Eisner has moved to give Jackett his public backing in the form of video message that was put out by the Pompey Supporters' Trust Youtube channel.
