Derby County have suffered a blip to their promotion chances with only one win in their last seven Championship matches.

Despite this, though, the Rams are still in the play-off places, but with a host of sides all the way down to Sheffield Wednesday in 11th place within four points of them.

Rams manager Frank Lampard has called heavily on loan winger Harry Wilson who has scored 11 goals in 34 appearances in all competitions since arriving from Liverpool.

Wilson though has suffered a dip in form in recent weeks, with fans taking to Twitter to bemoan his performances, so is it time for Lampard to give Wilson a rest?

We discuss.....

Louie Chandler

"Absolutely not.

"In fact, they probably need him now more than ever. As cynical as it may sound, the chances of Wilson being at Derby next season are slim.

"So playing him with the risk of picking up a knock is well worth it because he has the ability to fire them into the top-six."

“Nah, he’s not their player, what do they care?

“Burn him out and hand him back.

“It’s like having a hire car isn’t it?

“You always thrash it before you give it back with an innocent face.”

Jay Taylor

“I think this is would be the sensible choice.

“Tom Lawrence and Mason Mount have had time out of the side through injury.

“But Wilson has powered on - which has been a double edge sword.

“Playing too much, he is fatigued and not contributing as consistently as he was, or at all.

“It would be wise to allow Wilson some time out to aid a return to form when it matters most.”
