With his side on a run of four straight defeats, Sheffield Wednesday manager Jos Luhukay will be boosted by the return of striker Fernando Forestieri, who has been out since picking up a knock in early October.

If Forestieri gets the green light from the Owls medical staff, then the 28-year-old old will be available to make an appearance.

So should Luhukay risk Forestieri in the Steel City derby tonight?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

Yes.

Normally I’d say no, but a result in the derby is worth two anywhere else.

The Owls would see a draw as successful, away to a team at the top.

Forestieri is a big name and a big player. On this occasion, they need him.

Louie Chandler

I think so.

He is a big game player and Luhukay needs as many of them on the field as possible.

The Italian has the ability to win a match out of absolutely nowhere and in a local derby that is often crucial.

Jay Taylor

In a rough-and-tumble game like this where you would assume the challenges will be flying in, it might be better to give Fernando Forestieri more time to recover.

I have no doubts that he will be on the bench but he certainly shouldn’t start.

The international break is coming up so why risk him when there’s a two-week break right around the corner.
