Leeds United head into the international break having fallen out of the automatic promotion spots, following a 1-0 defeat against rivals Sheffield United, who leapfrogged them into second spot.

Whites manager Marcelo Bielsa's side came up dry on the goal front against their Yorkshire rivals, with striker Patrick Bamford unable to add to his tally for the season, having now not scored in his last two outings.

Bamford has led the line for Leeds since top scorer Kemar Roofe was sidelined by injury, having picked up a knee injury back in February.

So are Leeds missing Kemar Roofe badly with Bamford misfiring?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

“No.

“Bamford is as good as Roofe, if not better.

“He’s had a couple of off games, but Roofe’s record wasn’t scintillating after Christmas.

“The Leeds collapse isn’t any one player’s fault.”

Jacob Potter

"They need him back ASAP.

"Roofe’s goals have been crucial in Leeds’ promotion bid and with Bamford out of form in the last two games, they need him back.

"The sooner he returns, the better."

George Harbey

"I think his return can’t come quick enough.

"Leeds have been crying out for a bit of threat and pace up top in recent weeks, and Roofe brings that in abundance.

"Bamford is trying his best, but the system just doesn’t suit him I don’t think."

Jay Taylor

“I still don’t think Bamford is the right fit for Leeds.

“So, if that answers the question, then yes, Leeds are missing Roofe.

“He is more dynamic and has more about him to be able to lead the line for Leeds.”
