New manager Harry Kewell has a mammoth task on his hands as his Notts County side sit rock bottom of Sky Bet League Two, with only one point to show for their opening seven starts.

Kewell is looking to add to his ranks and is giving a trial to former Leeds midfielder Romario Viera, currently on trial at the club as confirmed by the club's Twitter feed.

So would Viera be a good signing for County?

We discuss.....

They need all the help they can get.

But having Romario Viera on trial could be of benefit should he sign on the dotted line.

Notts County are bottom of the EFL and are in need of some good luck after their recent appointment of Harry Kewell.

It would be a good signing for them but I feel they will need more than just him.

Gary Hutchinson

Not from what I’ve seen of County, no.

They need defenders, solid and experienced defenders, because at the moment they’re awful.

They’ve got some great players going forward, they’ve got decent midfielders too which is where Vieira comes in.

I’m not sure he’ll fit there.

George Harbey

If his playing style is anything similar to his brother’s, then Vieira could be a very shrewd addition for Notts.

The Magpies are in desperate need of a tough-tackling, physically strong midfielder to compliment the technical class of David Vaughan in midfield and Vieira looks to have a promising career ahead of him having already been a Guinea international at the age of 20.
