Jack Clarke continues to attract plenty of top-flight interest following an impressive impact in the Leeds United first-team.

Leeds’ lengthy injury list has meant Clarke has stepped up into the first-team, with the 18-year-old making six substitute appearances under Marcelo Bielsa.

Previously, Man City have been linked with a move for Clarke, and now, according to Football Insider, Liverpool are also in the hunt for the talented winger.

So, how will Leeds’ supporters be feeling after more worrying news emerged regarding Clarke?

We discuss…

I’d feel divided if I was a Leeds fan.

On one hand, there’s the potential that Liverpool will pay big bucks for Clarke, which could be really useful funds for Leeds going forward.

However, Leeds have let go of too many youngsters in the last few years. The likes of Lewis Cook and Ronaldo Vieira have departed and many will want Clarke to stay and be a Leeds legend.

I suspect worried, they look like losing a top talent and a few million quid won’t be proper recompense.

It really winds me up if I’m honest. Is he going to play for Liverpool? No.

Over the years wonderkids have been signed up by other clubs and flopped.

I remember Jack Hobbs going there with a big future and eventually he became a Championship journeyman. That is what awaits those chasing the pot of gold.

If Clarke goes, Leeds fans have every right to be disappointed.

It’s a concern because we’ve seen before that the Premier League ‘top-six’ have incredible power in these situations.

There’s no doubt that Clarke has talent and the likes of Liverpool could make serious money off him in the future.

You’d want to see Leeds dig their heels in here, but it might not be enough in the long run.
