Aston Villa will not be offering full-back Alan Hutton a new deal at Villa Park, according to the Birmingham Mail.

The defender has been a reliable figure for the Villans this season and there could be a case for Villa changing their mind and keeping the experienced star at Villa Park.

Should Villa change their decision?

We discuss.....

Adam Simeoni

Hutton is a fantastic professional who has served Villa well, but it is time he departed the club for a fresh challenge.

Hutton us unlikely to get into the side if and when Villa are promoted, with Bruce likely to spend big upon their return to the Premier League.

It is time for the two parties to part ways.

George Dagless

They should do all they can.

Financially it might not seem viable at the moment but if they can negotiate a pay-cut or something it would be a good idea.

Hutton might not be a top Premier League class player but he has experience and has proven to be important this year. They should keep him around.

Sam Preston

They have to swallow their pride and have a rethink.

He's starting every game, putting in solid performances and becoming a key part of the promotion push.

He is an experienced head who can guide the players in the promotion push and his relationship with John Terry on the left of the defence looks really good right now.

I don't know why they want to let him go.
