With a mixed set of opening results in their Championship campaign, Baggies manager Darren Moore could well go to the loan transfer market to add to his squad.

One option is Peterborough winger Marcus Maddison, but with Aston Villa and Leeds also keen on Maddison, should Darren Moore make his move if he wants the services of Maddison?

We discuss.....

I think so.

West Brom are a strong side with good options across the pitch but Maddison would make them even stronger.

He's good enough for the Championship without doubt and would make the Baggies a fine shout for promotion.

Jay Taylor

They don’t need him.

West Brom have Oliver Burke who hasn’t been given too much game time. Although he scored in the Carabao Cup win on Tuesday night, he is yet to really feature in the league.

If Maddison joins then Burke would be pushed down the pecking order even further.

I think the former Forest man should be given a proper chance ahead of adding the Peterborough attacker.

Alfie Burns

This isn’t the area of his playing squad that Moore needs to be focusing on.

The Baggies are creating plenty of chances and scoring plenty of goals, with their problems coming in defence.

Moore needs to spend the next two weeks tightening his defence.

Gary Hutchinson

Maddison has potential, but what has he proven in the Championship?

Can West Brom rely on a player who might do well?

Look, Maddison is a good footballer and I don’t want to sound down on him because that would do his talents a disservice, but the way Peterborough do their business grates on me a bit.

They want teams to overspend and they’re pushing the player out of the door trying to bag a big fee. It’s wrong.
