As we approach the halfway point in the Championship season, it's looking like it could be a two-horse race for the title between West Bromwich Albion and Leeds United.

Leeds are currently a point clear of West Brom at the top of the table, although the Baggies can return to the summit with a victory over Wigan Athletic this evening.

There's still a long way to go in the promotion race, but if West Brom win at the DW Stadium tonight, the gap between the top two and third-placed Fulham will be twelve points.

A victory for the Baggies will also mean that both of the top two will have won their last seven games, so it's fair to say that both teams have put themselves in an excellent position to win automatic promotion to the Premier League.

Leeds returned to the top of the table last night with a 2-0 win over Hull City at Elland Road, thanks to an own goal from Jordy de Wijs and Ezgjan Alioski's fourth of the season.

Follwing Leeds' victory last night, a West Brom supporter wrote in the Facebook group, The Real West Brom Fanzone: "Both of the Leeds goals were so jammy."

The statement caused quite a reaction from West Brom fans and many were quick to comment on the post and give their thoughts. Here is a look at the best responses...

Lee Sugden: They do it every week.

Pete Maslen: Bamford taking out the keeper before they score the second.

Mark Edgington: Huge deflection for the first and the second hit the post to fall right to their guy.

Jason Harris: So they're top through flukes every week? Come on that's ridiculous. Dunno why so many obsessed with what Leeds are doing. As long as we keep doing what we do we will be promoted, no matter what the other teams do.

Alan Kings: Leeds keeping us on our toes.

Joseph Higgs: We don't need to care what Leeds do, it's what we are going to do if we West Ham call their player back in January, we will need to replace him not like last time with Harvey Barnes.

Allan Kjær: Leeds can win the rest of there games (not Jan 1st) for all I care. That would mean they beat the teams in the play-offs and that's good for us.
