Nerves around Leeds will be beginning to rattle increasingly loudly as they approach the do or die stage of their promotion campaign.

A loss to Norwich City and a draw with Middlesbrough have dragged them back into the battle having seemingly looked comfortable a few weeks previously.

But Bielsa will be confident of getting the job done.

News broke on Tuesday, however, that might turn the heads of a few Leeds fans when rumoured transfer target Mimoun Mahi reportedly close to joining FC Zurich instead.

With the Whites move for Swansea wide man Daniel James falling through, they failed to strengthen an area that was high on Bielsa's January agenda.

Mahi has racked up five goals and five assists in an impressive Eredivisie campaign for FC Groningen and is set for a move in the summer when his contract expires.

So, could Leeds live to regret not moving for the Moroccan?

We discuss...

George Harbey

"I don’t think they’ll regret missing out.

"Mahi is clearly a very talented player who has contributed to plenty of goals this season, but he isn’t needed at Leeds.

"Bielsa already has a plethora of exciting attacking options to choose from."

Jacob Potter

"They won't live to regret this one.

"Mahi is a good option to have, but for Leeds, there were better options out there for Marcelo Bielsa.

"He would have been a useful squad rotation player to use, but nothing more than that."

Louie Chandler

"It could come back to bite them.

"Mahi was far from being a guaranteed success in the second tier but it is a position that they badly needed to strengthen.

"If the consensus is, come the end of the season that a winger would have made the difference."
