West Brom secured a very impressive 4-1 victory against Leeds United last time out that moved Darren Moore’s men back into the top six.

It was a much-needed three points for Albion who went into the game without a win in four and the performance will have lifted the mood around The Hawthorns.

Despite that, it can’t completely paper over the cracks and the clear weaknesses that the side have had in the past few months will need to be addressed properly in January.

Moore is likely to be backed with some decent funds in the window and that should worry some players that are already on the fringes as it will be harder to get a game.

Here we look at TWO players who need to show something before the New Year to avoid a potential departure…

Central midfield has to be a priority for Moore in January and that will impact Field.

Albion fans are fond of the youngster but he has made just four appearances in the league this season, two as a sub late on games.

Therefore, he clearly isn’t highly-rated by Moore and even though it might be a loan, the 20-year-old will surely leave in January. However, that could have a long-term impact as he may struggle to win a place back in the future.

The 21-year-old is another talented youngster who can’t get a game this season.

Many had hoped the Scotsman would take the Championship by storm after the Baggies were relegated but it hasn’t happened.

Burke regularly fails to make the matchday squad and must be desperate to get regular game time elsewhere.

Meanwhile, he would still command a decent fee, which would give Moore money to reinvest in players he actually wants.
